THE WHITE ALLIGATOR!

You will not believe what you are looking at when you see this rare WHITE ALLIGATOR. Take the time to read about this legend. His name is Creole which stands for "White Fog" and is 22 yrs. old. He is a white leucistic alligator that is considered one of the rarest reptiles in the world.

The first white alligator was discovered by a Cajun fisherman deep in the swamps of Louisiana. In 1987 18 males and 1 females were found among the natural colored babies.
They were taken to the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans to be cared for. There are only 12 White Alligators left in the world and Gatorland is where you can see one.
