When you pass through the EPCOT Gates you will be in LEAVE A LEGACY where you can mark your EPCOT moment with your image and then you will be headed for the EPCOT SPACESHIP EARTH!
This is where you can leave your "Legacy".
You can leave a picture of you and your family.
When you look upon SPACESHIP EARTH you will be amazed at how large this sphere is. Once inside it seems that it is much larger than the outside. The photo I took was taken during the Disney's Millennium Celebration when there was a giant Sorcerer Mickey hand and the word "Epcot" added to the exterior. (It has since been taken down.)
You will enjoy this 16 minute omnimover ride as you learn the story of communication. This 16 minute ride slowly inches your "time machine" vehicle towards the top of the sphere while Dame Judi Dench narrates your journey through history as a 63-piece orchestra sets the feel and emotion for each scene. Each vehicle is equipped with interactive touch screens that ask you how you would like to live, work and play in the world of tomorrow. The incredible Audio-Animatronics feature scenes of human connection over a 40,000 year time period from the dawn of recorded time to the 21st centuryís internet age. This ride is extremely interesting and the whole family will enjoy the ride.
Please enjoy a moment from the Spaceship Earth!
