WELCOME TO GATORLAND!

GATORLAND has some great Shows which are exciting and educational!

If you want to have a day off from the hustle and bustle of standing in long lines in the parks, GATORLAND is the place you need to visit. You will have a very rare and interesting day. It is one of Central Florida's oldest attractions. It provides affordably priced fun for the family for just a few hours, or for the whole day.

Where else can you and your kids see thousands of alligators without worrying if you are the bait! In this park you can get up-close to animals you thought you would never be up close and personal with. (picture by Jason Cordoba)
GATORLAND, known as "The Alligator capital of the World", is located between Orlando and Kissimmee at 14501 S. Orange Blossom Trail. It is a 110 acre, protected wildlife habitat, theme park with all sizes of alligators, from babies, to the big ones you would rarely see in real life. The people are the nicest and the gators aren’t too bad either.

The founder Owen Godwin in 1949 and is still privately owned by his family today. You won’t believe this great park had began as a roadside attraction. (picture by Gatorland)

When you are walking thru the parking lot, towards the entrance, there are the cutest signs telling you that your not quite there yet.

Every year millions of visitors pass through the huge open jaws mouth entrance.
Once inside you are transported to another place. There are swamps, bridges and gators everywhere! You can walk past babies, and the farther you walk the bigger they get. There is a petting zoo, aviary, white alligator, shows and even a spectacular water park that the kids can cool off at.

You can check out the beautiful parrots and macaws they have. They are not in cages so don’t try to pet them. They are very calm but they are still wild birds.
